i can't believe it's been almost 9 months since the last time i read naruto (and i got to read all the chapters in one reading.) it's been a long time since i got this excited over a manga. it's actually a great feeling, getting to do something you used to love.
*warning: spoilers ahead*
i actually cried over asuma's death. waaaahhh! after sarutobi sensei, why'd he have to follow. i didn't even know he was the sandaime's son. ok, i don't really know his character that well but i love shikamaru and his death affects him. speaking of shikamaru, he got to defeat an akatsuki single-handedly (can't get any cooler than that! ... well, you can actually). naruto, well he's still naruto but with a new kick-ass move. you'd expect if of him to do something really stupid in the middle of a very dangerous fight *that's why i sorta like him now*. i still love kakashi (don't go gay on me please!) and well, not much itachi over the last months. this manga is gonna go on for a very very long time since they just keep on replacing the lost akatsuki members and killing off one takes months. that said i'll probably take this up again in a few months :P
