the most painful thing i've ever read

I saw her testimonial about you and it tore my heart to pieces (kung alam mo lang kung gano kasakit). it wasn't enough that you broke your promises to me while we were together, you had to make new ones and break them again. When will you stop hurting me? This is the reason why i don't wanna see you nor talk to you anymore.

10 THINGS I LIKE ABOUT RY:

1. He's smart. You can talk to him about anything and everything-- from the
most mundane & trivial topics to stuffs that really matter-- and still makes
sense.

--> yeah... anything except the things that matter to him. do you know what he likes doing best? have you really talked to him about his views and his favorite stuff, his hobbies and his work or were you talking about your "everything?"

2. He's funny. Although he thinks that I never laugh at his jokes (coz I don't patronize him--makes him stay grounded. hehe), silently I do :)

--> laugh at his jokes, they're funny. that's not patronizing him, that's appreciating him

3. He's very attentive. He pays attention to details (well, selectively..) and stays awake when driving... (now where did that come from? hehehe!)

--> maybe you mistook his silence for attentiveness. if you do know him, you'll know that he's thinking about other stuff while you're yakking yourself away. he doesn't always stay awake when driving, he occasionally drifts off so always make sure to talk to him when he's driving. he also doesn't pay much attention to details. i do agree about the selective listening part though... emphasize the DO NOTs and DOs when you're telling him something.

4. You can count on him on almost E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G. He's the most reliable person I know.

--> almost... i couldn't rely on him when it came to his promises

5. He listens without prejudice.

--> hahaha... you're probably talking about something that he doesn't know about or something that he doesn't care about. he's hardheaded you know. even when he knows he's wrong he won't listen.

6. WE like almost the same stuffs-- music, movies, food (!) and badminton.

--> really?!?! he likes veggies too? movies? you like war movies?

7. He's crazy! He's insane! He's not afraid to look goofy by demonstrating a dance routine in front of you or belting a song on top of his lungs.

--> this i agree with *smiles wistfully*

8. HE REALLY HAS GOOD TASTE!!! (ASK HIM WHY) :) :)

--> why? because he chose you over me? that's not something to brag about or is it something that you're used to already?

9. He's patient and tolerant and reliable and nice. :)For 10 years, he put up with my worst moods, my quirks, my tantrums, my insanity... He was there during the best and worst parts of my life... He's always there. Period.

--> he's not patient. he just doesn't show it to people he's not comfortable with. and he wasn't always there, you just didn't notice.

10. He's my bestfriend. Need I say more?

--> he's your bestfriend but you seem to know less about him than he does about you. one more thing, did you know that there are at least 3 other girls that claims to be his bestfriend too? did you know that for almost the whole 4 1/2 years we were together he claimed that i was the only bestfriend he had? well, this could also turn out to be a lie (see how reliable he is?)

If there's one person (outside my family) who knows me deep down, he's the one... In fact, he knows so much about me that can put me to jail!Hehehehe! So better keep your mouth shut, ok? :) Friends till hell freezes over!

--> really? he knows you that well? ask him the most basic questions about your life before you claim that, you just might be wrong. for all you know he might have not been listening. btw, don't worry, you'll be friends in all your lifetime. i wouldn't allow hell to freeze over til you've both been there to enjoy the fire. :D

It's sad to know that she thinks she knows a lot about you when all she's ever seen was the part of you that you've shown to the rest of the world. Has she seen all your sides? Has she seen you afraid? Has she seen you irritable? Have you cried in front of her? Has she seen you in your happiest mood or your worst for that matter? Has she ever done her share of the listening and comforting?

The saddest thing about this is that someday she might (sana hindi!) get to know you like i do now or more (i doubt it). This is killing me but like my friend told me, this kind of stuff happens to everybody, deal with it. I'm dealing with it.
