ikebukuro west gate park, another drama i've recently seen. kudo kankuro wrote the screenplay for this, the same writer that gave us kisaratzu cat's eye (one of my all-time favorite dramas). i'd give it 5 stars. i never really liked nagase tomoya 'til now. igwp is as great as kisaratzu cat's eye but in a different way. it's a dark drama and just like mars, i'm amazed i actually liked it... a lot. the cast was great (koyuki, yamashita tomohisa, satoshi tsumabuki, ken watanabe... my favorites) and the storyline was unusual. there was even a point where i was laughing and crying at the same time. :D loved this drama :)
just finished nodame cantabile. waaahhh!!! i don't want it to end just yet! i'm gonna miss all the characters especially nodame. *sniff,sniff* one of the best and funniest jdramas i've seen. wanna watch it again (but can't since home pc's busted). gonna watch swing girls next (since now i'm a big fan of ueno juri.)
currently watching nodame cantabile and so far enjoying it. just finished smiling pasta. was quite funny but a bit silly. well the silliness is why it's funny. it was good considering that there weren't any cute guys and it still got me hooked (semi-hooked, wasn't really paying that much attention during the latter eps. was skipping scenes :P). nicholas teo's voice was nice though *sighs*. nodame on the other hand is hilarious (so far, i've only seen 3 eps). :)
hmmm.. haven't been blogging lately. things that happened since last year...let's see... richie came home so we had an sml christmas party (haven't been able to upload the pictures yet). went home and had a great vacation (spent Christmas day with my family and the rest of the vacation watching prince of tennis and scrubs). came back to Manila and back to work on the second day of the year. been going to capitol medical center a lot lately, had 2 x-rays and consultations for the lung thing and back pains -- waaahhh!! haven't been able to play badminton and skate these past few weeks :'( (yep, i play badminton, i don't really dislike badminton, just someone who likes playing it -- so i'm petty, who cares). got to meet my childhood friends again (tata and mark-mark caratao.) haven't seen these guys in over 15 years but we never really lost touch. oh... my crush actually talked to me. if the one word last time made me freak out just imagine what whole sentences did to me. actually, i kinda tuned out, couldn't really remember everything. was trying really hard to focus on not making a fool of myself at that time. :P what else... hmmm... so far that's all i can recall.
