bought a pack of cotton buds. it says in the back "directions: never insert into ears or nose" and i was like uhhmmmm... what's up with that!? anyways, nothing much happened this weekend. my hockey lesson got cancelled :( coach paul had to go to moa. bummer. rented pride & prejudice, tuck everlasting and monster-in-law but only got to watch the first two. had to watch the pinoy big brother teens' last eviction night 'til 11pm (am so happy that kim and gerald got in! :P) so i was up 'til 3am trying to finish watching the movies i borrowed. pride & prejudice is now one of my favorite movies. handsome, handsome mr. darcy...*sigh* hehe... got this nice line from tuck everlasting: "do not fear death... only the unlived life." :) sapul but am not gonna dwell on my unlived life. went to marikina(?) last sunday (thanks benj and beej for the ride to and fro :D) for the fitting of the gowns again and syempre tumaba ako. :( oh well, at least adjustments will be made. am currently watching my girl (i got my copy yesterday, yey!) kaya medyo bangag ako ngayon. had less than 4 hours of sleep. adik-adik! will go home early today... gotta finish my girl :D

saw sam milby last night! gwaping! sat on the front row of studio 1 so i'd get a good view of sam performing. didn't even mind that i was alone and for a good part of the event i had no one sitting beside me. well, sam was worth it ;) he sang "my girl" and he's so cute (ok, i should stop gushing). abs had a premiere showing of "my girl", a koreanovela featuring Lee Da Hae (angela of Green Rose) and Lee Dong Wook, for the media and its (and it's subsidiaries') employees. they showed the first episode (tagalog dubbed) and it was funny. i enjoyed it so much that i didn't want the fist ep to end yet. haayy... i should just get a copy (addiction kicking in). i just hope the rest of the eps are as good as the first one. *sings sabihin mo na kung anong gusto mo*

got to skate in mall of asia yesterday (i'm actually more excited than this may sound). the rink was big (olympic-size). not as big as i imagined but big enough that you can skate your desired speed (which in my case was slow) without bumping into other people. the bummer part was that i had to use rental skates (natawa pa ata coach ko). i commute and didn't know how far i had to walk so i didn't bring my own skates (bigat kaya). waaaahh! inggit ako sa kanila. i was actually shaking (from fear?) after my first round using the rentals. wasn't used to it anymore and i miss the comfort of knowing that i wont easily slide off the ice (when turning or doing crossovers) when i'm using my own skates. rentals have toe picks. was (i still am) really afraid of them. had my set of experiences with the toe pick and some scars to show for it. luckily the rentals were new (no bad smell yet) and the blade was actually sharpened (so they actually sharpen those, hmmm). met a lot of familiar faces but i didn't recognize half the people there. must be southmall skaters. gotta get back to work, i'm experimenting with working 9-hour shifts only. i hope this will last. hmmm... i actually didn't talk about the mall (which was btw huge!). hehehe... obvious bang yung rink lang yung pinunta ko dun.

had a nice skating weekend. my feet hurt so much after our saturday lesson. had extra practice time since there were 3 of us who had hockey lessons (mikka and her brother luigi) so i got to practice shooting again. sticks aren't allowed during public hours except during class time so nakisingit lang habang naglelesson yung dalawa. i didn't have to skate but since i'm so afraid of falling i planted my feet in a certain position that after two hours they hurt like hell. was limping after taking off my skates. last week, darien (another kid from the rink) told me that they were featured in wazzup, wazzup (surfing ata). finally found the episode. cute kid, looks like harry potter.

yesterday was mothers' day. i miss my nanay!!! was watching asap and they had this tribute to moms and it made me cry. it made me miss my nanay more. during the mass the priest had the moms stand in front for the blessing and i cried again. waaaahhh!!! i wanna go home! called my nanay thrice. called ry's mom too. i miss her too. she's her usual bubbly/accommodating self but our call was cut short since she had to go somewhere (a friend's birthday). haaay...

playing with my camera. bagong gupit at bagong blower yung buhok kaya medyo matino. am having a mars-rerun. dunno if i can finish it since i'm so freaked out with one of the characters (there's this psycho in the series... just way too creepy). vic's acting was actually good (except on the first few scenes). he played a dual role and managed to make me love ling and scare me with sheng(?). mars is definitely a dark series but a very good one too. most series that are good usually comes from a manga/manhwa/comic book.

haaaayyy... john lloyd. hehehe... just finished watching their segment in the buzz. i used to not like him (tabing-ilog days) but i really liked his character in ikaw ang lahat sa akin. he's the only actor that i saw na kinilig ako. even with sam and tj todo ngiti lang ako pero with lloy-d... well, todo ngiti and then some :D starstruck!

had a massage yesterday (kasalanan 'to ni crystal). it was really nice (bit expensive though) but found out today that i've got more sore muscles at my back than i did before the massage. nanggigil ata yung masahista. the good thing about it was that it really relaxed me. been under too much stress lately.

when you expect a lot from a movie you usually end up feeling disappointed afterwards so i figured if i already know that a movie's a tearjerker then i won't cry as much. but noooo... i cried right about from the start 'til the end of if only. lech! i love that movie. a bit weird on some parts (the standing ovation) but on the whole it's a two-thumbs up. i finally got a copy of before sunrise. it's not as good as before sunset but it was nice. i also rented a room with a view. it was supposed to be a comedy but i didn't find it that funny.

btw, why is it that water tastes differently when sipped from a straw?

saw tj trinidad in the lobby when i came in (just about the same place i saw lloy-d before). not a bad way to start a day :P

this is one game that makes me feel stupid. i'm actually having a hard time solving the easy puzzle. a bit addicting though. (sample of an easy puzzle above) the objective is to fill all the squares with the numbers 1 to 9 without repeating it in a row or column or in the 3x3 box.
