nothing much to do tonight. am still waiting for the html encoded version of the page i'm supposed to do. should just go home but have nothing to do at home either. btw guys, subscribe to the google adsense thing, it's the one found on the right panel of this page (just below the links portion) so we can both make money :D also feel free to use the google search (still on the right panel, top-most portion). actually took the Tickle's Original Inkblot Test earlier. it really sucked. hehehe... it's because i got the same results that my seatmate did :( hmp! it took me a long time to finish it and all i got in the end was "Your Result Type Is: Imagination!" and a short explanation (have to pay to get the detailed report). oh well, if for some unknown reason you do decide to take the test please do tell me if you get a different result.

spongecola's gemini

come a little closer
flicker in flight
we'll have about an inch's space
but i'm here i can breathe in
what you breathe out

let me know if i'm doing this right
let me know if my grip's too tight
let me know if i can stay all of my life
let me know if dreams can come true
let me know if this one's your's too
coz' i see it
and i feel it right here
and i feel you right here

the vacuous night
steps aside to give meaning
to gemini's dreaming
the moon on its back
and the seemingly
veiled room's lit
by the same star

i like this song... heard it twice tonight.

not so nice skating weekend. :( not only do i suck at skating, i also suck at puck handling :( read an article in inquirer about my coach. says there that he's one of the best coaches in asia (am so proud of him!). it's just that it also makes me a bit sad that even the best in asia can't help me. stop, stop, stop! must remember other people's advice: must be optimistic. will persevere. wouldn't want my skates to go to waste (not to mention my tuition fee). musn't get frustrated. all it takes is practice. go cors! :D

a not so nice experience

nanakawan kami :( bad experience. am just thankful nobody died (yung housemate ko nasuntok at yung kapitbahay namin nasaksak sa may braso :() my housemate came home wondering why the locks were all destroyed but the door was closed. thinking that one of us did that he rang the doorbell. laking gulat na lang nya nung biglang may sumapak sa kanya at hinila sya paloob. what was scary was that the robber actually had a balisong. he and my housemate struggled (luckily the first one to get home was our male housemate... i don't know what would have happened if one of us girls got home first) and thank God my housemate managed to run out of the compound and ask for help from our neighbors.

the guy got arrested. he got my discman and some other items. he also took my roommates' money and jewelry. am not really sure what else is missing 'cause my things were in a disarray and i don't really remember what i placed where and where i placed what. my clothes were on the floor and my things were scattered everywhere. am thankful he didn't touch my skates and my pc. we weren't actually able to retrieve the money he took (some said that others took it from him) but the other things are now in the police's custody. policemen tend to power-trip. it really sucks and it's really, really, really annoying. we spent most of the night in the police station for the filing of the case. we're still a bit shaken with what happened. :(

we're forgiven?

Well, I would like to think
The world hasn't seen
That all the best is still to come,
And I know life ain't easy.

I pass them sleeping on the streets
Their bloodstained hands and dirty feet
And I can't ignore them
Any more then I already have

So we laugh, and we smile
and we play our games of sweet denial
But don't tell me we're forgiven
If we hold, all our breath
If we kneel right down and just repent
You can't tell me we're forgiven

Start with me
I cannot lie
When my heart doesn't follow my eyes
Turn away from all the suffering
That surrounds
Our time on this earth
For some their life has been a curse
I say I'm sorry and I should change
You know it just could be me someday

There's no way out of here
I don't want to die, and leave it all behind
Each day part of me disappears
But who am I to judge, what's been sent from above

We can't laugh
We can't smile
When so much just ain't right
It can't go on forever...
If we hold, our breath
If we kneel down and repent
You can't tell me we're forgiven, no,
You can't tell me we're forgiven

dedicated to someone

"You are a fingernail running
Down the chalkboard I thought
I left in third grade" - just a phase, incubus

"I bite my tongue every time
You come around
'cause blood in my mouth beats
Blood on the ground" - blood on the ground, incubus

"Seeing you is like pulling teeth
And hearing your voice
Is like chewing tin foil" - blood on the ground, incubus

"I'm beginning to notice
How much this feels like
A waking limb
Pins and needles" - nice to know you, incubus

fairy tales and castles

cause on and on and on he goes
dancing on the grave
of what he thought was still alive
and on and on and on he goes
dancing in mansions made of twigs
and castles made of sand

it's kinda sad (can semi-relate to it) but i still like singing the phrase (usually with a smile). again, won't explain 'coz am no good at that. had the best skating weekend :D loved the lesson although was still struggling with the puck (i.e. am no good at it). enjoyed playing with the kids and skating with them. loved hitting the puck most! hehehe... that's because i don't have to skate, i just have to stand there and hit it full force. had aching arms and back later but still was worth it. got to borrow gloves so my hands weren't hurt like last time (used facial tissues on my palms so not much sweat would get on the borrowed gloves - eeeky!). we did laps and it was tiring. was sweating after but it was nice. made lots of new friends (all kids). was so tired i slept when i got home. slept before 9pm and woke up around midnight only to sleep again at 1am and had to reluctantly get up at past 8am. can't wait for next weekend ;)

yesterday's rants

hate those people who condescendingly quote other people. they think they're so great. aarrrggghhh!!! what's with? what's wrong with just playing for fun? that's why it's called "playing"... the objective is to have fun.

my new hockey stick

got a new hockey stick! hurray! :D was worried about commuting with it, luckily my coach was kind enough to let me leave it with him... (thanks coach paul!)

IMO my coach is one of the best coaches in megamall (if not the best - sipsip! :D) but am afraid all his expertise is being wasted on an untalented skater like moi (sad but true). still, am loving skating. can already crossover (forward and backward, left and right) albeit awkwardly. love going fast (not too fast since am still a dufus at stopping) with occasional crossovers (it ain't as good as it sounds) and the feeling of getting tired (this one's weird since am one lazy kid).

nyways, started our stick lessons last weekend and it was fun. bought the stick just this weekend. my coach asked me which side was i comfortable hitting the puck with, figured i'd go for the right side since i was right-handed but then realized later was more comfortable with the left side! realized it a bit too late though, my coach already cut the stick to fit my height. just have to learn how to manage the stick with my left hand (you hit with your right but most maneuvers are done by your left hand). figured it'd be easier to teach my hands than my feet since hitting on the right means stopping with your left foot (and we all know how good i am at stopping *roll eyes*).

was supposed to wear gloves but was hesitant in borrowing one (clammy hands). as a result a part of my right hand was sore. :( can't wait for my next lesson. still praying i won't suck at it :D
