tae wang sa shin gi/legend

i really think this kdrama is worth blogging about (even if it's just to say that i loved it.) i started watching this back when it was still airing in korea. i loved watching it but i hated the waiting. it took quite some time but i finally finished it. i must say i was impressed, with almost everything. with that budget (reportedly more than $40 Million), it should impress.

bae yong joon (my ex-husband :P) did a great job. so did lee ji ah (sujini) and moon so ri (kiha). surprisingly, my favorite character was kiha, the female antagonist. i loved how moon so ri portrayed her character. i hated her as gajin but as kiha, i loved her. i specially loved the scene where she realized that sujini was her sister (the scene after their fight). i also liked the guy that played the guardian of the blue dragon (lee philip).

i'm not good at this so i'll just end this with a "i loved it and if you have 24 hours to spare, go and watch it."

btw, this drama also made me realize that men do tend to do more foolish things for love. ;)

honey & clover

3/27/08 10:12 pm

crap! crap! crap! my eyes hurt from all the crying. i can't believe i cried this much for honey & clover. i bet the others didn't even get teary-eyed. waaaahh! i love honey & clover! i love all of them, even morita. i don't think i even liked his character in the movie. i didn't like the movie, period. but i love this drama. i love takemoto, not toma (although i do love toma) but takemoto, despite all the dorkiness and the cowardice. what i loved most about this drama (aside from the subtleties) was probably the song. i love hirai ken's canvas. the lyrics, it's what got me bawling the first place.

honey & clover - now i get it :)
