what?! lee min ki (dalja's spring) was in the philippines!?! when? where? will he be back? waaaah! i'm so behind my korean fandom :( eh, searched the net and saw this. they're going to shoot (are they done, still a bit clueless, am a bit in a hurry to watch nodame) the movie feel so good (with eugene) here in manila and in boracay. i should try to find out more about this. i'd really like to see this guy :)

btw, nodame cantabile SP subs (2nd episode) is now out, hurray! hurray! hurray! thanks so much to siantut! subs found here.

recently i attended a wedding of my close friends, jason and donna lou. jason was one of my best friends in college and donna was one of my closest friends from highschool. what is it about the walk down the aisle that gets me teary-eyed? seriously, i don't get it. i don't actually think it's from being overly happy nor from being sad. lol! maybe it's both. i'm happy that a friend has finally come to a turning point in her life and at the same time sad for the same reason? eh! i don't make sense. one thing i know though, i'm not envious. just thinking of getting married still gives me the shivers. as i've told the groom before, i'm one of those who never ever dreamed of my wedding day. it's too much hassle plus i'm not one for spotlights. i actually convinced(?) my nanay (mom) to have my wedding as simple as possible. was shocked that she actually agreed (i'm an only child). she said though that it'll only be possible if i didn't have the wedding in tacloban :P so i should find a groom that's not from my hometown? bummer! *not that there are any left that i'm interested in* still, i still prefer probinsiyano boys over those from the city (bitter?) :P there's something to be said about their values (definitely bitter! lol!). going back to the couple, they've been together for a whole decade. it's really something rare for me to see. as i've written in their guestbook, i wanna thank them for bringing back my faith in "happily ever after" :P

1 litre of tears SP. used up a lot of tissues tonight. from the title alone you'd get an idea what would be in store for you (that's why i didn't watch this right away). i've seen the drama more than a year ago and back then i tried not to cry *like that's possible* this time i was crying right from the start. i couldn't help it. my eyes are still sore from crying. btw, before i forget, ryo was hot in this one as well :) back to the SP, they actually picked the scenes that made me cry in the drama. i don't think erika did any filming for this one (did she?). ako (narumi riko) turned out really pretty. nice thing i watched this, some sort of a preparation for honey and clover.

ikebukuro west gate park SP. another SP i've been avoiding to watch. nanka it just didn't feel right to watch this. too much free time (i'm still on vacation) finally convinced me to watch it (seriously, i've got nothing else to watch. i've rewatched kat-tun's 3 concerts already and the cartoon kat-tun episodes i like). it's not as dark as the drama. it was surprisingly funny. i'm not exactly sure if i was disappointed or not. i love the KCE cast's cameo though and i was laughing a lot that my mother got curious what i was watching. overall i liked it but it no longer has the IWGP feel to it :( i love the fact that hikaru is no longer obsessed with makoto though (and that she got minimal air time :P).

unfair. ~~is there an SP?~~ *apparently there is and a movie as well* when i first tried watching this i went "eita? eita?!? eita!?! eita!!". stupid of me not to check the cast first. i only knew shinohara ryoko (anego) was the lead and got curious. eita was a big plus :D surprised though that it got me bawling at the end. what exactly did she see in the end? was there ever an eita drama where he got the girl? nodame, medaka, sapuri... weh! sukida doesn't really count since it wasn't eita acting in the end.

galileo. a drama i never intended to watch (still not a big fan of shibasaki kou) but since everybody was saying this was the only drama worth watching this season, i decided to give it a try. so far it's good (compared to the rest i guess) i'm still not done yet though, 2 episodes short i think. still not done with yukan club either. this actually got better as it progressed. just when i started to like kashii yu she went off marrying odagiri joe (not that i can blame her :P).
