shifting from sosuke to ryo-chan

been watching cute ryo-chan clips just to erase sosuke from my mind (watched last friends' ep. 3 today.) i just finished the muchaburi episode with crystal kay. found out that aside from the super adorable "dareeee?!" there was this cute "oishi" scene. *kawaii ryo-chan*

i finally finished initial d's fourth stage and ugly betty's first season. now i only have 4 seasons of one tree hill and megazillion *roll eyes* episodes (and chapters) of dragon ball (dbz+dbgt -- i'm reading the manga for the first 16 volumes 'coz i couldn't find a dvd copy of dragon ball) to catch up on.

i've played Don't U Ever Stop around a 100 times yesterday (it's past midnight here now) and this was only in the office. i should stop but i still found myself listening to it when i got home (and i was listening to it before i went to bed yesterday). :P i love jin's evil/sexy laugh + sexy "hell yeah" :P oh and i also love six senses. i've only seen this song performed once before. with the queen of pirates album coming out with it and all the fuss everybody was making about it, i just realized that i really am still a newbie ( i've only been a KAT-TUN fan for 5 months!)

NEWS' Summer Time PV is out. it's really nice, i loved watching it. kinda wahaha-like but with a bigger budget and a different theme (but then wahaha was kinda weeeek-like) :P rewatched it when i got home. ryo-chan is back being the old ryo-chan in my eyes once again. last friends really is scary.

mokomichi!!! :D i just finished watching the first episode of zettai kareshi and i loved it (aibu saki and all.) i'm more of a hiro fan but mokomichi seems oishi too :P it has a nice ending song too (okaeri by ayaka) :)

btw, i am now a proud owner of a KAT-TUN 2008-2009 calendar, yey! :P *thanks, thanks, thanks yoj!* eh, i know i'm a bit behind but still it's KAT-TUN! :P i'm definitely not using it (just like julie's not using her kanjani8 calendar :P) plus it's more of like a photobook anyway :D *goes back to staring at kame's pics*

it was good. not my usual type of movie. a bit slow paced. but it was good. really good. this is the first time that i really liked jude law. :)

we just met jon avila. he was very nice (and very goodlooking!). he even shook our hands and since my right hand was sweating, i actually shook his hand using my left hand *awkward!* :P

top 10 dramas

this was my reply to miss-dian's post. figured i should put this here too.

it's hard to gauge things so i probably would just base things partly on rewatchability(?)

1. nodame cantabile - the most hilarious drama i've ever seen. plus it made me appreciate classical music. ueno juri is so adorable as nodame.

2. Fullhouse - i love song hye gyo! it's been a while but i still remember how much i loved watching this.

3. Meteor Garden - this got me into this asian drama world plus i really loved hua ze lei :P

4. Coffee Prince - a really funny and sweet love story. i'm such a sucker for those.

4. Endless Love 1 (Autumn's Tale) - this made me cry, a lot. plus this was my very first kdrama.

5. Mars - zai zai! one of those dark dramas that really surprised me.

6. Hero - takuya kimura. need i say more? lol! my first jdrama.

6. kisarazu cat's eye - hilarious! i love bussan! and bambi! and uchi! and master! and ani! just like nodame, this can still make me lol even on reruns.

7. bara no nai hanaya - i loved the story. it just kept on surprising me til the end.

8. nobuta wo produce - kame + pi. i loved this even back when i wasn't a kame fan yet. did a rerun recently and who can resist shuuji to akira :P

8. tatta hitotsu no koi - the story's a bit overused but i loved it. this was what got me kame addicted. :)

8. honey & clover - it was quite an experience. i can't describe it but there was something different about the way i felt every time i watched this.

8. Proposal Daisakusen (+SP) - this wouldn't have made my list pre-SP (the drama ending sucked, thank goodness they did the SP.)

9. why why love - what can i do, i love romantic comedy dramas. all the giggling made me feel like i was back in highschool.

10. Pride - another one that became a favorite after a rerun. takeuchi + kimura = OTP

i noticed that all my first dramas (kdrama/twdrama/jdrama) made it into my list. :) some too became a favorite only after a rerun. i kinda cheated though, there were more than ten and i just couldn't decide :P

the best winter drama. perhaps the best jdrama of the year. it's not without flaws but overall, i loved this drama. it's definitely in my top 10 list. from the first episode to the last one, it kept me guessing. just when i thought i got the situation pegged down, something happens. it's about love, love between father and daughter, a comrade, between brothers, a man and a woman, and a family unrelated by blood.

of all the relationships, i loved eiji and shizuku's relationship. shingo did a great job playing eiji that i think he should just go get married and have a kid :P better yet, he should just marry yuko (if only kimura wasn't married). :D

since i'm such a sucker for kame, i bought these:

kenzo & rei

waaaaaa! i loved the prodai SP! :D it certainly did make up for the ending of the drama :D if the drama ended with the first 11 minutes of the SP, i would have been perfectly happy with it. *sigh* kenzo and rei are still my OTP.
